Best Time to Visit
April through June and September through November offer comfortable temperatures and fewer crowds. Southern Spain can be very hot in July and August, though coastal areas and the north remain pleasant.

Barcelona and Catalonia
Barcelona is one of Europe's most dynamic cities, with Gaudi's otherworldly architecture, a thriving food scene, and beaches within walking distance of the Gothic Quarter. The Costa Brava to the north offers hidden coves and charming fishing villages. The Penedes wine region and the medieval town of Girona are excellent day trip options.
Madrid and Central Spain
Spain's capital is home to the Prado, the Reina Sofia, and the Royal Palace, alongside a vibrant tapas culture and nightlife that rivals any European city. Day trips to Toledo (the city of three cultures), Segovia (with its Roman aqueduct), and the windmill landscapes of La Mancha add historical depth.
Andalusia
