About Greece
Greece is where history and beauty exist side by side. The whitewashed villages of Santorini, the ancient Acropolis in Athens, and the crystal waters of the Ionian Islands create a landscape that feels both timeless and alive. Every corner of Greece tells a story worth hearing.
We build Greek itineraries that go beyond the well-known highlights. While Santorini and Mykonos are extraordinary, islands like Milos, Naxos, and Crete offer equally compelling experiences with a fraction of the crowds. We help you discover the Greece that speaks to you.
The Greek islands are best experienced when you take the time to settle in rather than rushing from one to the next. Each island has its own personality, its own cuisine, and its own rhythm. Santorini's volcanic drama is entirely different from Crete's mountainous interior, which is entirely different from the green, Venetian-influenced landscapes of Corfu. We design island-hopping itineraries that give you at least two to three nights on each island, which is the minimum needed to move beyond the tourist areas and discover what makes each place special.
Mainland Greece is often overlooked, but it holds some of the most important archaeological sites in the world and landscapes that rival the islands for beauty. Delphi, perched on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, was considered the center of the ancient world. The Peloponnese offers ancient Olympia, the theater at Epidaurus, and the fortified town of Monemvasia. Meteora's monasteries, built atop towering rock pillars, are one of the most visually extraordinary sights in all of Europe. We weave these mainland experiences into island itineraries to create a trip that captures Greece in its full depth.
Best Time to Visit
May through June and September through October offer warm weather, manageable crowds, and the best overall experience. July and August are peak season with hot temperatures and busy islands.

Where to explore
Each area of Greece has its own character. Here is what to expect and who each region suits best.
Athens and the Mainland
Athens anchors any Greek itinerary with the Acropolis, world-class museums, and a vibrant food and nightlife scene. Beyond the capital, the mainland offers Delphi, Meteora's cliff-top monasteries, and the Peloponnese's ancient sites. Most travelers spend two to three days in Athens before heading to the islands.
The Cyclades
The most iconic of the Greek island groups, the Cyclades include Santorini, Mykonos, Naxos, Paros, and Milos. Santorini's caldera views and Mykonos's cosmopolitan energy are world-famous, but the lesser-visited islands offer equally stunning beaches and a more authentic pace of life. Milos, with its lunar landscapes and hidden sea caves, is a rising star.
Crete
Greece's largest island is a destination unto itself. The Minoan palace of Knossos, the dramatic Samaria Gorge, and the Venetian harbor of Chania are just the beginning. Crete's culinary traditions are the foundation of the Mediterranean diet, and its mountainous interior offers hiking, gorge walks, and villages where traditions have been maintained for centuries.
The Ionian Islands
On the western coast of Greece, the Ionian Islands have a distinctly different character from the Cyclades. Corfu's Venetian architecture, Kefalonia's dramatic coastline (including the famous Myrtos Beach), and Zakynthos's sea caves and turtle nesting beaches offer a greener, more lush version of Greek island life.
The Dodecanese and Eastern Aegean
Rhodes, with its medieval Old Town (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and Patmos, where Saint John wrote the Book of Revelation, anchor this lesser-visited island group. The Turkish-influenced cuisine, Crusader-era architecture, and quieter beaches make the Dodecanese an excellent choice for travelers who have already visited the Cyclades and want something different.

Experiences we curate
Island Hopping
The Greek islands each have a distinct personality. We design multi-island itineraries with seamless ferry or flight connections tailored to your pace. A classic Cyclades route might include Santorini, Mykonos, and Naxos or Milos, but we also design itineraries through the Dodecanese (Rhodes and Patmos), the Ionian Islands (Corfu and Kefalonia), and the lesser-visited Sporades. We handle all ferry bookings, transfers, and accommodations, and we build in enough time on each island for you to explore beyond the port town.
History and Archaeology
From the Parthenon to Delphi to the Palace of Knossos, Greece's ancient sites are best experienced with a knowledgeable private guide who can bring context, mythology, and historical narrative to what you are seeing. We arrange private experiences of the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum, guided excursions to Delphi and the ancient theater at Epidaurus, and visits to the Minoan ruins on Crete. For history-focused travelers, we design itineraries that trace the arc of Greek civilization from the Bronze Age to the Byzantine era.
Sailing and Yacht
Private and crewed yacht charters offer the most immersive way to experience the Greek islands at your own pace. You wake up in a different cove each morning, swim in waters so clear the boat appears to float in midair, and dine at waterfront tavernas that are only accessible by sea. We work with experienced charter companies to match you with the right vessel, crew, and itinerary, whether that is an elevated catamaran through the Cyclades or a traditional gulet along the Turkish-influenced Dodecanese coast.
Culinary Traditions
Greek cuisine is rooted in simplicity and quality. Olive oil, fresh seafood, ripe tomatoes, feta cheese, and herbs gathered from the hillside form the foundation of a culinary tradition that has nourished people for thousands of years. We arrange cooking classes on Crete (where the Mediterranean diet originated), olive oil tastings on the Peloponnese, wine journeys on Santorini (where volcanic soil produces distinctive Assyrtiko), and meals at family-run tavernas where the owner greets you at the door and the menu is whatever was caught or harvested that morning.
Practical notes
Athens serves as the main gateway, with connections to the islands by ferry or short domestic flights.
Island-hopping logistics require careful planning. We handle all transfers, accommodations, and timing.
Travel insurance is recommended, particularly for trips involving multiple ferry connections.
Greece uses the euro. Credit cards are increasingly accepted on the major islands, but cash is still preferred at smaller tavernas and shops.
We recommend a minimum of 10 days for an island-hopping itinerary with mainland highlights.
What our clients say
"Our Greek island honeymoon was perfectly designed. Santorini for romance, Mykonos for energy, and a private boat day in between. We did not lift a finger and everything happened exactly when it should have. Pure magic from start to finish."

Ways we plan Greece
About Greece
Both, in most cases. Two to three nights in Athens covers the major historic sites comfortably, then four to seven nights island-hopping (Santorini, Mykonos, Milos, Paros) builds the contrast that makes a Greece trip memorable.
May, early June, and September are ideal. The weather is warm but not extreme, the islands are open, and you avoid the August crowds. Many island hotels close from November through March.
We arrange a mix of fast ferries and short domestic flights depending on the islands and your timeline. Private transfers handle the port and airport logistics on each end.
