San Antonio International connects through every major United States hub and offers nonstop service into Mexico, which makes short elevated escapes genuinely practical. For Europe and the Maldives we usually route through Dallas, Houston, or Atlanta, and we build the connection with enough time that a delay in Texas does not cost you a night at your destination. When a routing out of Austin or Houston is meaningfully better, we say so rather than forcing everything through SAT.

When San Antonio travels
San Antonio travel is shaped by the summer heat and the school calendar in Northside and Alamo Heights. Spring Break and the weeks after Fiesta are our busiest departure windows, June and July are almost entirely family trips, and September through November is when couples travel best. We generally begin planning European summer travel the previous autumn, because the properties worth having are committed early.
Questions we hear from San Antonio travelers
Do we need to fly out of Austin or Houston to get a good itinerary?
Not usually. San Antonio connects well through the major hubs, and the extra connection is often worth more than the drive. When a Houston or Austin departure genuinely saves you a day, we tell you and we plan the ground portion around it.
Can we meet in person?
Yes. San Antonio is our home community and we are glad to meet locally for the planning consultation. Clients elsewhere in the country work with us by video and phone.
How far ahead should a San Antonio family plan a summer trip?
For summer travel to Europe we recommend starting nine to twelve months out. For Mexico and the Caribbean, four to six months is generally comfortable, though holiday weeks close earlier than people expect.
